The internationally recognised obstetric diabetic service provides specialist pre-conception and ante-natal care for type 1, type 2 and gestational Diabetes. The multidisciplinary team are world-leaders in this field  and have been instrumental in setting national guidelines in this field.

 

A pre-pregnancy counselling service is offered at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital and at St Mary's Hospital. This service gives advice on preparation for pregnancy and what to expect once pregnancy for ladies with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.
